The Dangote Refinery, what does that mean for investors? by Dare

It’s no longer news that Dangote is embarking on big project in Lagos, Ibeju Lekki to be precise. The richest man in Africa according to Forbes is building a world class refinery in no other place than the Lekki Free Trade Zone, the construction aspect is said to be completed by 2017 and by 2018, the refinery would commence operation. That’s a wise investment most especially now that Nigeria is going through challenging times. It is expected that refinery is going to produce about 235,000 direct and indirect jobs for Nigerians.
What does this imply for investors?  Now I’m going to narrow it down to property investors. It is obvious the Lekki Free Trade Zone where Dangote refinery is been situated would attract people from all works of life locally and internationally, thereby creating a need for shelter. To me this is  the best time to invest at Lekki Free Trade Zone, next  I am going to highlights five reasons why should jump on this opportunity.
1.       Beta Stage: At the moment most projects at Lekki FreeTrade Zone (LFTZ) is still at its early stage, landed property there would be cheap and affordable.

2.       First: Imagine I decided to build a block industry at that location, I would be amongst the first owner of such industry and we would grow together with community. And I notice early investor tends to be the first reaper of the goodies of a new innovation, so don’t be a late comer.
3.       Choice: You have a choice at this early stage; you get best the location which would be accessible easily, nearness to main road, easy to describe location if you understand what I mean.
4.       Solve a Problem: You would be amongst the first set of people that would be solving huge housing deficit in this location, think about.
5.       Job Creation: Imagine how many construction workers you would be engaging, electricians, painters, surveyors. In your little way you have impacted in some entrepreneurs lives.
So, it doesn’t pay be an on looker, invest now and thank me later.
